About Us

The outdoors club is a student run organization which uses student funding that is taken right from your college bill to bring people outdoors on informal trips in activities such as: hiking, white water rafting, winter camping, warm camping, snow shoeing, canoeing, kayaking, cross country skiing, and horseback riding.

Common Questions:

1) Who can Join? - People of all ranges of experience are welcome to join the club. All members are willing to share their knowledge with others.

2) What do I have to do to join? - Just email one of the leaders to know your interested in a trip and come out to the meetings. If you can not go to the meetings you will get email's of the meeting and what trips are planned.

3) Where and when are the meetings? - They are every week on Mondays around 5pm in the Etower. Times change each semester. Please send an email to the advisor or club members to get informed.

4) Can anyone come to the trips? - Yes, anyone enrolled at Delhi College. If you bring someone outside the college who is not enrolled they may need to pay their own way. All trips are limited on space.

5) Do I need my own gear? Also, the club has all the equipment—tents, sleeping bags, backpacks, kayaks, canoes, etc—a person would ever need, and all of it is free to use, when you're a club member.
